SHIPPING

Snell Flooring, LLC has negotiated great volume discounts with the major freight carriers which are passed on directly to you. Some of our manufacturers have set flat fee shipping which helps make delivery more economical for our customers. Flat fee shipping options are noted on the item page.

WAREHOUSE PICK UP-FREE AND EASY

Did you know that most manufacturers have warehouses in nearly all major cities? This allows you, the customer, to pick up your order within days and avoid paying shipping or freight on your order. Simply contact us at 334-794-7239 for the warehouse location nearest you for your FREE flooring pick-up.

BUSINESS DELIVERY

The most affordable of delivery options. All business deliveries must be in a non-residential area (Unfortunately home-based businesses do not qualify for business delivery). Make sure there is an area and parking for delivery truck. Be able to accept deliveries until 5:00PM local time.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY

Residential delivery is an affordable option to have your order delivered right to your door! Residential shipping rates are slightly higher since trucking carriers are required to change to smaller trucks in order to deliver to non-business areas. Please remember all orders are curbside delivery. The drivers are unable to enter your home, and it is your responsibility to move all materials into the home. If you require assistance in unloading your order, please arrange for lift gate / inside delivery services for nominal additional fee when you place your order. A few things to make your delivery experience smooth and easy....

Remember the delivery truck will be on the larger side. Flooring is delivered in trucks around 25 to 45 feet long so if your home doesn’t have a flat, paved space accessible by a truck, get in touch with customer service for other great options.

You may want to get extra help. Flooring orders tend to be on the larger side, so you don’t want to be stuck moving 40+ cartons of flooring by yourself. Have some help on hand just in case!

Since some types of flooring tend to be heavy, drivers aren’t insured to offload your products themselves– if you’d like your items to be moved directly inside the garage, just call and speak to one of our specialists about an inside delivery.

Last but not least, the street/driveway area should be paved and readily accessible. If the end of the driveway is at a steep incline, inaccessible by a large vehicle, or otherwise obstructed, delivery may take place at the nearest available point.


FREIGHT TERMINAL PICK UP

The ultimate in convenience and cost savings. Customers may pick up their order at any of the many different freight terminal pick-up locations across the country.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Shipping orders to Canada, as well as Alaska and Hawaii, is easy and economical.  Most of our manufacturers have warehouses across Canada as well as the US. Since your goods are originating from the US, you will not be paying any duties or other fees. All shipments unless otherwise stated on your invoice are business to business with curb side delivery. Shipping times may vary by product. If you are on a deadline, just let your sales representative schedule your shipment. Our shipping times vary by product. Please consult your sale representative for approximate times. It is always best not to schedule your installation until your flooring arrives. Snell Flooring, LLC offers multiple shipping options. Choose the one that best fits your schedule and budget.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Here are the most common services customers use to help make their delivery convenient and easy-

Lift gate services - a hydraulic lift that enables heavier orders to be lowered off a truck and directly onto your curb or driveway. You’ll need a flat paved area that is spacious enough for the truck, and for the lift-gate to be lowered. Have help ready on the delivery date to bring your materials from the curb inside your home when your order arrives.

Inside delivery- If you’d like the delivery team to assist you by moving the order directly into your garage, or easily accessible area inside your address then Inside Delivery is available for an extra fee. Give our customer service team a call for more details.

ORDER TRACKING

Its easy to track your order online. As soon as your carrier picks up your order from our warehouse, you’ll receive an email with information on:

The name and telephone number of the carrier

The tracking number of your order

A link to the carrier’s website for online order tracking

DELIVERY DATES AND TIMES

Delivery times typically take place from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm local time. For most residential deliveries the carrier will call you to confirm a delivery appointment.

Please be at the delivery location at the set appointment time – if a re-delivery is required, you may face additional shipping charges. For business deliveries carriers do not typically make an appointment. Please contact the carrier if a specific time is required.

Shipping time is usually between 7-10 business days from the time your order leaves our warehouses to the continental United States. Shipping time is longer to Alaska/Hawaii and rural areas.

Return Policy


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Just notify Snell Flooring, LLC within 3 days from receipt of delivery if you wish to return merchandise. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 334-794-7239 to receive a Return Merchandise  Authorization Number (RMA). Merchandise returned without an RMA will be refused, and unfortunately you will be charged for any return shipping fees. Return authorization numbers will only be issued up to thirty (30) days after receipt of delivery. No returns will be issued after 30 days.

Please follow the easy steps below. Most manufacturers do charge a restock fee (typically 25 percent) and there has to be a minimum of 5 cartons for a return.

  • Please e-mail estimate@snellflooring.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Pack the items carefully to avoid damage in transit.
  • Affix the RMA provided on the outside of the return packages. Please be sure not to write on the packages themselves but just to attach the RMA  number with packaging tape.
  • For your protection and to ensure prompt delivery, we recommend that you send your return via an insured method which can be tracked in the case of loss (i.e. UPS or FedEx Freight). Remember you are responsible for the initial freight delivery fees to your home/business/terminal. You are also responsible for the freight delivery fees of any returned items and any restock fees depending upon the manufacturer. We are more than happy to book your return back using our negotiated rates with our top carriers.

We're sorry but accessory items (moldings, underlayment, etc.) and special mill orders are NOT returnable or refundable.
Your return request will be processed promptly.
* Returns are processed within 3-5 business days of receipt and refund will be in the form of payment received. Please allow up to 7 business days after the receipt of your merchandise.

Damage Policy


When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment just follow the simple steps below. We will remedy any situation immediately!

In the rare event that any materials are damaged or missing, you or whoever else is accepting your delivery on your behalf must note this on the driver’s bill of lading. If damaged or missing items are not noted on the delivery receipt, we will be unable to file a claim with the carrier. We are unable to reship or reimburse you for damaged/missing materials unless they are noted on the delivery paperwork. Keep all paperwork, packaging, and damaged merchandise, as it becomes property of the freight carrier once the claim is filed. Never refuse a delivery or fail to accept any undamaged cartons, or you will be charged for return shipping and a 25 percent handling charge. Any damage that you fail to notice at time of delivery must be reported to Snell Flooring, LLC within 3 days of delivery. You will only be covered for damaged cartons/merchandise that has been noted on the driver’s bill of lading.

Snell Flooring, LLC has partnered with the very best freight carriers. Claims are extremely rare (less than one half of one percent of all orders shipped). In the event that there is an issue with your order, we will work closely with you to ensure a speedy resolution.

REMEMBER YOU ARE COVERED AS LONG AS YOU HAVE NOTED ANY DAMAGED/MISSING CARTONS OR ITEMS ON THE DRIVERS BILL OF LADING AT TIME OF DELIVERY.
